Epsilon Wins Yucca Mountain Contract
SAN DIEGO -- February 22, 2002 -- Epsilon Systems Solutions (ESS), Inc., won a $9M contract from the Department of Interior to provide support for the Yucca Mountain Project in the areas of: hydrologic and geologic studies and documentation, quality assurance and inspection of engineering and scientific research data, database management, and network administration.

President George W. Bush recently announced that Yucca Mountain is the Administration's choice for storing the country's radioactive materials. Located in the mountains near Las Vegas, Nevada, the Yucca Mountain site will involve numerous government and commercial agencies. Once operational, the site is expected to hold more than 70,000 tons of material currently placed in over 100 sites around the country.
Epsilon Systems Solutions contract will end up employing over 40 technicians, engineers and specialists and will be in effect for 5 years.
