Epsilon is on Winning Team with SPAWAR and Cubic

San Diego, California (June 2, 2003) – Epsilon Systems Solutions, Inc. is on the winning team led by Cubic Corporation (AMEX:CUB)’s Defense Applications group for the Space and Naval Warfare Systems Command (SPAWAR)’s $31.8 million contract – Communications Data Link (CDL) System, Block 1, awarded in March.

"CDL will ensure distribution of tactical and national intelligence to the fleet -- a significant capability for our naval forces," said San Diego Congressman Randy “Duke” Cunningham, representative of the 50th congressional district, and a member of the House Intelligence Committee. “This contract award demonstrates yet again that San Diego leads the way in providing cutting edge technology for the military in the 21st century.”

The CDL System Block 1 is a wideband Common Data Link for the transmission of signal and imagery intelligence data between national/tactical reconnaissance aircraft sensors and their associated surface ship processing systems. The contract is for the development, manufacture, enhancement, maintenance, and system test and evaluation of the CDL systems. The five-year contract contains options which, if exercised, would bring the total estimated cumulative contract value to $92.7 million. Epsilon will be providing engineering, testing, evaluation, acceptance, and integrated logistics support.
