Epsilons awarded a 5 Year, $1.4 Million Contract by the Office of Naval Research
San Diego, California (December 2, 2002): Epsilons Systems Solutions, Inc. Awarded a 5 Year, $1.4 Million Contract by the Office of Naval Research for Technology Management Support.
The Office of Naval Research (ONR) Product Innovation Division (ONR 362) identifies and facilitates initiatives that integrate science and technology (S&T) and the industrial base to ensure life cycle affordability of naval systems, accelerate transition of S&T products to acquisition programs and operating forces, and enhance national and economic security. To this end, ONR 362 manages programs including the Dual-Use S&T, Technology Transfer, and coordination of Future Naval Capabilities (FNC) programs. Epsilon will provide support to ONR toward increasing partnerships with the U.S. and/or international commercial research and development sector and the DON science and technology initiatives in the areas of strategic management, acquisition management, technology evaluation, system design, and development process. Epsilon will provide ONR with technology development advice by applying the tools in strategic management to include planning, developing, implementation, and feedback and will assist ONR in the development, implementation, documentation and execution of technology transition, management and business plans, including a strategic technology integration plan and system engineering. This effort will be managed by the Applied Technologies East headquartered in Arlington, VA .
