Epsilon awarded Naval Undersea Warfare Center Contract
San Diego, California (April 21, 2003): Epsilon Systems Solutions, Inc. was awarded a Technical and Operational Support Services Contract by the Naval Undersea Warfare Center (NUWC) Newport, RI.
The Naval Undersea Warfare Center (NUWC), Division Newport awarded a $3 Million contract to Epsilon Systems Solutions, Inc. for technical and operational support services to the Undersea Systems Simulation and Analysis Center Branch C. This contract is responsible for providing dedicated computer resources and facilities for torpedo simulation efforts. These facilities include: the Weapons Analysis Facility (WAF), the Weapons Systems Computer Laboratory, and the Torpedo Operational Software Development (TOSD) facility. Epsilon will provide weapons’ simulator operations, computer systems operations, operational support of the Weapons Systems programs, as well as Automated Information System (AIS) Security support. The effort will be managed by the Applied Technologies East Division headquartered in Arlington, VA. This contract is Epsilon’s first major contract in Rhode Island and enhances Epsilon’s outstanding achievement of exponential growth of more than 4000% since its inception in 1998.
