Awarded Subcontract for Navy Satellite Operations Center
San Diego, California (September 14, 2007) – Epsilon Systems, as a member of the Rome Research Corporation (RRC) team, has been awarded a subcontract in support of operations at the Naval Satellite Operations Center (NAVSOC) at Point Mugu, CA. The $33M value contract supports certain operations of the NAVSOC facility. The contract provides personnel to perform functions related to operating and maintaining a variety of strategically important satellite systems on behalf of the Navy, providing communications services to military forces worldwide. The daily operations of NAVSOC occur in four locations: Pt. Mugu, CA, Colorado Springs, CO, Prospect Harbor, ME, and Finegayan, Guam.
