Epsilon Systems Successfully Demonstrates Rapidly Deployable Tactical Platform for Security and Surveillance

San Diego, California (August 15, 2008) – Epsilon Systems recently participated in Operation Golden Phoenix 08, an operation led by the U.S. Customs and Border Protection of the U.S. Department of Homeland Security, involving a simulated response to a mock bio-terrorism attack. This operation provided participating agencies a unique opportunity to cooperatively practice real-world disaster response techniques. Other participating agencies included the County of San Diego, City of San Diego, and U.S. Marine Corps Aircraft Group-46.

Epsilon Systems demonstrated Epicenter(SM), a rapidly deployable, multi-layered, and multi-mission capable situational management system solution. This one-of-a-kind integrated solution, designed and created by Epsilon Systems’ Security Technology Business Unit, provides fusion of video, sensors and data via a wireless mesh. The real-time integration provided enables instantaneous interagency communication and situational awareness, allowing first responders to react rapidly and effectively in emergency situations.
