Epsilon Systems Solutions, Inc. Awarded Department of Homeland Security Contract for DC Metro Area Passenger Rail Security

San Diego , CA (July 19, 2006) – Epsilon Systems Solutions, Inc. has been awarded a contract by the U. S. Department of Homeland Security (DHS) to provide passenger rail security. The Amtrak Security Pilot Project (ASPP) involves the turn-key design, manufacture and installation of a video buffer-zone surveillance system along the Amtrak railroad system in the Washington DC area. The design includes state-of-the-art surveillance along with explosive detection. The contract has an approximate award value of $5 million.
