Mr. Jack Sears
General Manager, Information Technology & Communications Sector
Mr. Jack Sears, Jr. joined Epsilon in 2002 and currently serves as General Manager of the Information Technology and Communications Sector where he provides leadership and management oversight for diverse teams of engineering, logistics, test and evaluation, training, and administrative support professionals for Department of Defense (DoD) and Department of Homeland Security (DHS) programs.
Mr. Sears has over 16 years of experience in providing leadership, program management and technical support for Command, Control, Computers, and Communications, Intelligence, Surveillance, and Reconnaissance (C4ISR) programs. He has extensive experience and technical knowledge in Common Data Link (CDL) Systems, Advanced Tactical Data Link Systems (ATDLS) including Link 11 and Link 16, and US Navy Combat Systems, including AEGIS and the Ship’s Self Defense System (SSDS).
Prior to coming to Epsilon Mr. Sears served as the Technical Design Agent (TDA) and Project Manager for the Common High Bandwidth Data Link – Surface Terminal (CHBDL-ST) for the Space and Naval Warfare Systems Center, San Diego (SPAWAR Systems Center San Diego). His duties included providing the resource sponsor and the Program Manager with technical and engineering expertise, managing a staff of government and contractor personnel, and managing the installations of CHBDL-ST terminals onboard US Navy ships. Additionally, he was tasked with developing and maintaining the program’s annual budget. Previous duties at SPAWAR Systems Center San Diego included performing as the New Construction (SCN) manager for Link 16 installations and budget, Link 16 Subject Matter Expert, and Naval Technical Representative (NTR) for Link 16 system installations.
Mr. Sears spent six years in the US Navy as a Data Systems Technician prior to joining federal service at SPAWAR Systems Center.
