Mr. Grady Petty
Senior Vice President and General Manager,
Nuclear Operations and Environmental Management Sector
Mr. Grady E. Petty joined Epsilon in 1998 and currently
serves as Senior Vice President & General Manager of the
Nuclear Operations and Environmental Management Sector.
As one of the original employees, Mr. Petty has had a
tremendous impact in guiding Epsilon Systems' business
development in the Rocky Mountain States, including New
Mexico, Idaho, Colorado, and Nevada.
Mr. Petty has over 30 years of operations, operations oversight,
maintenance, and training experience in reactor and non-reactor nuclear
facilities, including over 19 years of technical management experience.
As a senior consultant to DOE, Mr. Petty has served as the Conduct
of Operations Subject Matter Expert and Training Subject Matter Expert
on various Operational Readiness Reviews, audit, assessment, and
technical assistance visit teams at many of the major DOE facilities
including Sandia National Laboratories, Los Alamos National Laboratory,
Nevada Test Site, and the Allied Signal Kansas City Plant.
Mr. Petty also served as a key participant in the design of plans
for implementing DOE Order 5480.19 (Conduct of Operations) and DOE
Order 5480.20 (Personnel Selection, Qualification Training, and Staffing
Requirements) at the Rocky Flats Plant. He has also been a key participant
in the development and implementation of the DOE Facility Representative
Program and DOE Technical Qualification Program.
During his career, Mr. Petty has managed the overall maintenance
and operations of land-based reactor plants, including the development
and execution of preventive and corrective maintenance plans and
the training and supervision of operators and maintenance technicians.
