Mr. Robert Kautter
President and General Manager, Marine & Industrial Services Sector

Mr. Robert Kautter joined Epsilon in 1998 and currently serves as President of the Marine & Industrial Services Sector. His contributions have been critical in building the Marine & Security Sector from startup phase to Epsilon System's largest business unit. Prior to forming the Marine & Industrial Services Sector, Mr. Kautter provided technical and management oversight for large environmental projects Epsilon contracted with the Department of Energy's Rocky Flats Environmental Technology Center.

Prior to his role at Epsilon Systems, Mr. Kautter served as a Program Manager at Earl Industries where he led performance-based assessments of operations and maintenance work practices at commercial nuclear power plants.

In addition, Mr. Kautter served in various program management and consulting roles at over 50 commercial nuclear plants and DOE facilities. His work included leading and participating in self-assessments of management capability, corrective action programs, safety system performance, and all functional areas of plant operations against INPO, NRC, and DOE standards.

Mr. Kautter received a B.S. in Chemistry from the United States Naval Academy. He has experience as a Senior Reactor Operator, certified evaluator with INPO, and team leader or member on numerous DOE and commercial nuclear utility site assessments. He was a qualified Engineering Officer for Naval Nuclear Propulsion Plants.
