Mr. Jim Blasko
Senior Vice President and General Manager, Fleet Engineering Services
Mr. James Blasko serves as Senior Vice President and General Manager of the Fleet Engineering Services Sector. His responsibilities include leadership of a team of top notch engineers, highly skilled and experienced engineering technicians and professional business process experts who provide a full range of technical and related business services in support or our Navy, MSC and USCG customers.
Prior to working for Epsilon Systems, Mr. Blasko worked for CACI/American Management Systems in the Center for Maintenance Technology (CMT) as a Reliability Engineer supporting training and implementation of Reliability Centered Maintenance (RCM), conducting maintenance assessments, and training personnel in RCM principles. He has over 25 years of experience in positions of leadership and management and technical operations of Navy conventional and nuclear propulsion plants and waterfront repair. Mr. Blasko has extensive experience and technical knowledge in reliability and maintenance engineering, ship maintenance, process improvements and related consulting. He has experience with type commander maintenance programs and Naval Special Warfare (NSW) ships, craft, submersibles, diving and associated equipment. He has provided extensive consulting and task management support to the U.S. Navy, U.S. Coast Guard, and United Space Alliance in support of the NASA Space Shuttle Program.
Mr. Blasko received a B.S. in Mechanical Engineering from the U.S. Naval Academy and an M.S. in Mechanical Engineering from the U.S. Naval Postgraduate School. He is a registered Professional Engineer in the state of California and holds certifications in NAVSEA RCM (Levels I and II), Naval Nuclear Power Training, Defense Acquisition University (DAU) Lean/Six Sigma (LSS), and DAU Performance Based Logistics (PBL).
